This winter and spring, we have an awesome line-up of classes that feature: group piano, STEAM/Art, creative writing, jewelry/accessories/upcycling clothing, comics & cartooning and visual arts/makers studio. Please find class overviews and schedules below. Also, feel free to share with friends and family!

As a team, we strive to meet the needs and interests of each peer group through engaging projects that provide purpose, enhance identity reflection, and promote appreciation for a variety of creative outlets. The arts are a great way for us to reconnect with ourselves and the environment around us.

GROUP PIANO CLASSES

Explore the world of music by joining a Move Over Mozart music course! We’ve been guiding students on their musical journey for 36 years. The combination of group learning and one-on-one instruction has shown to be ideal for students to immerse themselves in the musical experience; students learn at their own pace, while also interacting with their peers. Our piano, percussion and glee club will help students develop critical listening skills, take part in individual and ensemble performance, and engage with music theory through musical games and activities.

Our aim is to enhance challenge-based thinking as we work through the design, creation and exploratory process. Visual art projects will infuse different techniques and mediums, such as: painting, drawing, clay, fiber art, etc.

Spark Creativity Studio’s creative art & textile classes are for varying ages. Here’s a quick snapshot of what to expect: our Visual Arts Studio focuses on 2D, 3D, Digital Art and Textiles, our Functional & Wearable Art class focuses on jewelry and accessory creations, Upcycling Clothing focuses on altering clothing/sustainable fashion, and Comics & Cartooning is for those that like to mix character drawings with dialogue.
