Blue Planet Exploration & Sustainable Making (3rd-9th)
Dive into Blue Planet Exploration & Sustainable Making, where science, creativity, and environmental responsibility come together. Throughout the week, students will explore marine life across the world’s five oceans—the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern, and Arctic—each day spotlighting a different ocean and its unique ecosystems. Campers will investigate ocean depths, marine life, temperatures, climate regulation, and the role humans play through trade, pollution, and conservation, building a deeper understanding of how interconnected our planet truly is.
Alongside their blue planet explorations, students will roll up their sleeves for hands-on sustainable making, learning how creative artists and designers use eco-friendly materials and mindful practices to care for our planet. Campers will transform their learning into a one-of-a-kind sculpture and a vibrant collaborative mural. The week concludes with a Friday Showcase, where families are invited to view student projects and celebrate a week of discovery, creativity, and meaningful making inspired by our blue planet.
