Musical Background:

I am a classically trained pianist who started taking private lessons at age nine, as well as a mostly self taught bassist and drummer starting in high school. More recently, I completed an online General Music Studies certificate program through Berklee School of Music, where I took classes on basic music theory, ear training, bass performance, and drum set fundamentals. ​

Teaching Style:

I like to keep my lessons relaxed yet progressive, and tailored to each student's personality, interests, learning style, and pace. I work with all different ages and levels, and am able to adapt to those who may have learning disabilities or special needs. I tend to keep things interesting by not only working on songs and theory books, but also including games and activities to reinforce information while having fun. 

Hobbies & Interests:

In my free time I enjoy sewing, gaming, going to concerts, and caring for my aquarium full of cherry shrimp!
