Rodrigo began playing cello and electric guitar in middle school and continued playing through out high school.

 

After high school, he studied jazz guitar at SRJC and later SSU, where he earned a bachelor's in music education. During his time at SRJC and SSU, he studied piano under Rudolf Budginas and Ken Cook.

 

Rodrigo began teaching piano with Move Over Mozart in 2018 and is open to teaching both piano and guitar. He believes in a sound-before-sight approach and likes to engage students in hands-on, musical games that involve call-and-response.
